Revival is needed for Christ to prevail in the land. Revival is needed to restore the zeal of God in our personal lives and the church. Revival is needed when our love for God has grown cold – not getting involve in the things of God, having no compassion for the lost, indulging in sin, etc. It is needed for the spirit of righteousness to prevail in the land. Revival is needed to rebuild the alter of prayer. Revival is needed where there is demonic doctrine and satan worship.
So do we need to pray for revival? Of course yes and here are some scriptures.

We love because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19 ( ESV)
Dear God, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to die for me. Thank you for your unconditional love which enables me to love others. Help me to love my kids. Help me to manage my anger and cause me to be more patient with them.
Grant me the strength to play, the ability to listen, understand and enjoy my kids. I pray for wisdom to discipline in love and coach them when they find something they love. May television, social media, and other entertainments not take my attention from my kids. But rather help me to be available when they need me.
Above all, may I continually give your unconditional love to my kids. Thank you for first loving us. amen.

Heavenly father I thank you for your faithfulness and steadfast love. You are the giver of hope and strength. I admit that I’m often afraid. In my darkest moment and challenging times I can’t see the right way. But you oh Lord are my light that gives me hope in times of darkness and strength in times of weakness – so I don’t have to be afraid.
Today I let go of all my fears because you are the stronghold of my life. Amen
